Since January 2010, I've been communications consultants and Internet sales for the Ford Motor Company 'Digital Ford team.'
Here are a few quick words about my sales car Internet credentials:
-Since almost two years before joining the Ford-Lincoln Digital team, I was a vendor Internet at Volkswagen of Boardwalk, Texas VW store. During my stay I was there "Salesman of the Month" four times and, for 2009, I was "vendor of the year' Boardwalk it was the first time that an"Internet Guy"won Virginia price in this store."

In 2007 and 2006 I was recognized by Subaru as "Top 20 seller" in the South-Central region, receiving the top Subaru price "Peak performer" in 2007 and the Stars of the 'Silver Award' sale in 2006. These two years I was one of only three "Internet" guys to get these prices.

As well as my success, I have lots of errors, some of them made near-fatal. So, have not only learned what works in the Internet car sales, I also learned what doesn't work. If you give me the chance, I believe you will find that I know how to sell cars on the Internet and can help you convert more of your prospects into sales.
A bit of personal history (for those who are interested)
How is ending up in the business of retail automotive Internet sales? For me, it was a colorful and totally unexpected journey...
In 1972, I wandered into Austin with some buddies musician hippie of my small hometown of Pennsylvania and immediately fell in love with Texas and the capital. Although my friends are soon returned I slept, and when the Austin 'Cosmic Cowboy' scene happened, I was right in the thick of it. All the musicians of the city were friends at the time; Asleep at the wheel, Willis Alan Ramsey, Jerry, Doug Sahm, Willie Nelson, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Vaughan (the "Ray" came later) and countless others, many now forgotten, were my friends and neighbors. If you went to school in Austin, during this period, you know what a special moment, it was. By the late 1970s and early 1980s, I was in the Uranium savages, troupe infamous satirical comedy of music of Austin. It was around this time, however, I have had the great awakening and discovered that my 30th birthday is just around the corner. 30 years and still living the life of artist/Bohemian/Slacker Austin? Better not. Time for Phase 2.
I was dating a girl from Dallas in time and when she came out of the Faculty of law that we've moved to his home city of Dallas. She passed the bar and became a practicing attorney (and my wife) and I fell into my 2nd career; Homebuilding. For most of the next 14 years, I was in the company of construction and modular production, in Texas, New England and the States of the centre as a salesman, Sales Manager or sales manager & marketing. In this endeavour, the high times are incredibly high and low times are incredibly low. In addition, if you do well, you work 7 days a week and at least 360 days a year. It is not an industry for the faint of heart. Or for a guy who wants to see his family from time to time. One day, I realized that my eldest son, then 8 years old, played Sunday afternoon League rec center basketball for two years - and I had never been to one of its parts. A second way of life had caught up to me. Time for Phase 3.
A year later, I discovered the explosion of the PC. I bought a computer in the home (a big at the level of the Office of 166 MHz/2 GB of time - for $2,400 too.) How things have changed) and discovered that my diploma of Radio-TV-Film-old UT has come in handy after all. I produced and directed two CD-ROMs for learning of the business for home builders, then convinced that the multimedia company who made for me to hire me as a seller and producer. Suddenly I was carried into madness dot.com/telecom, selling streaming video, custom multimedia services and/or e-learning enterprise software for purposes of training and marketing to American Airlines and Dallas-based large telecommunications companies, more computers Compaq Computer Associates in New York and Houston. It was a fast and wild ride. But we all know what happened then. In 2003, the company was a party for good. Time for Phase 4.
I was idly one day when I discovered that an old friend and his partner had just opened the first exclusive dealer of Subaru in northern Texas, Subaru of Dallas. I went there to see what it was, and, at their request, I have built and managed two parts of performance online stores; www.hotsubarus.com and www.pcpcdallas.com. In two years we have developed them in some of the stores online over success of their kind, so in 2005 Phil asked me to come to the side for sale new car of the building and develop a strong Internet new car sale business for the dealer. I did it - and there I remained until June 2008, when I had the opportunity to join Boardwalk Volkswagen.
In January 2010, I was asked to join the team of ADP Dealer Services Ford-Lincoln Digital Marketing Consultants. Book "The Art & science of Internet car sales ' is an accumulation of my first hand experiences as a car salesman of the Internet and from my observations and experiences as a consultant best practices Internet sale also.
