The style the author uses is quite motivating throughout the book and can be used to give oneself a mental kickstart. His enthusiasm in parts rubs off.
There are many questions which the author asks and then answers which deal with many of the day to day issues of running a business and getting one started. This is useful as it does get inside the mindset of a business owner - his stated objective.
Then the bad.
Much of the information is too generalised. There aren't any real life case studies in the book which a reader can easily glean insights into. I would have also appreciated more hands on experience from the authors battles in the busines world. I always look for these in business books - they are always the best parts.
There are grammatical errors. They aren't huge and although there are worse offenders out there on Amazon, they do detract from the writing throughout the book. I am a quick read and even I found a handful of poorly expressed sentences in the first couple of pages.
The formatting could also use some help. There are many, many super large text chunks that go on for pages. Better formatting could easily improve the readability in parts.
Overall, you will probably get something out of this book, it just lost a couple of marks from me in these areas. If the author addressed these items I think he could easily get better reviews going forward for this book and/or others.
